You may need a Visa to travel to Macau if you are a non-citizen. Please check and make sure you have sufficient time for applying for a visa.

At hotel check-in, it is mandatory for all guests to provide a valid travel document, accompanied by the Slip of Authorization to Stay, which will be issued at Macau customs and please keep it for the whole trip.

Taxis in Macau run by meter with the initial rate of MOP $19 for the first 1.6km and an additional MOP $2 for every 240m. And there is a MOP3.00 surcharge for each item of luggage carried in the boot. Some taxi drivers may only speak Cantonese and Mandarin, so having the Chinese address and cash ( HK/MOP) ready will be convenient.
